Podcasts are supposed to have a little logo or picture that goes with them. For a while I was content with the original Walrus picture (from Show 1) serving as a totem image . . . but as I started to list InveDel on various podcast directories and on iTunes, it became clear that what was needed was a visual brand for the show.
As you can see from the results, I'm no graphic artist. This logo looks like words stamped on a light-blue Post-It Note.
But the font, Alba, has this funky 70s look to it, and reminded me of the Electric Company, the wonderful children's show that I loved as a kid, and then got hooked on all over again as a college student, watching it with my cousin Katy. The show's performers (including Morgan Freeman & Rita Moreno) were such a great ensemble!
I guess the general 70s-ness was what made the connection for me. (Turns out the Midnight Special logo is a closer match!)
